This class focuses on creating a food relationship based on nourishment and love. Being in the city that never sleeps with hectic schedules, stressful lives, and nearly endless exposure to convenient meals has a major impact on our food relationships and why we choose the foods we choose. In this class, we’ll take a step back from the crazy to slow down; allowing us to physically and emotionally reconnect with our food.
We’ll acknowledge factors that can damage how we relate to food and lead to less satisfying interactions with it day-to-day and will discuss techniques to help break the cycle.
Whether you’re an emotional eater, a stress eater or you find yourself frequently wrapped up in a pattern of imbalanced dietary habits that aren’t serving you, this class, taught by Chef Shauna Keeler, MS, RD, is for you.
Featuring hands-on preparation with basic culinary techniques to foster mindful connection with food, this class aims to serve as a catalyst for helping you create a vibrant and loving food relationship that nourishes you inside and out.
